Jacob was the father of the 12 Tribes of Israel. His name was changed from Jacob to Israel, meaning 'Let God Prevail'.

Joseph, known for his ability to interpret dreams and for his coat of many colors, was the son of Jacob. In spite of being sold into slavery by his brothers, he proved to be the savior of his father's household.
